Beginning July 1, 2025, Montgomery County, Maryland will prohibit the use and sale of gas-powered leaf blowers and similar landscaping equipment.
Key Details:
First violation: $500 fine
Repeat violation: $750 fine
Incentive: Up to $1,500 in trade-in rebates available to help landscaping businesses and residents transition to electric alternatives.
