Starting today, a strong heat dome is gripping the Midwest and Northeast, placing over 90 million Americans under heat alerts. Daytime highs are soaring past 100°F (38°C), with some areas feeling as hot as 110°F (43°C). Authorities urge residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor exposure, and check on vulnerable groups like the elderly and children.
During extreme heat, safe use and storage of cordless tools and batteries is just as important as personal health:
Avoid Direct Sunlight – Do not leave SnapFresh tools or batteries in hot cars or under direct sun.
Use Tools in Cooler Hours – Operate tools in the morning or evening instead of peak midday heat.
Store Properly – Keep batteries in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space.
Check for Overheating – If a tool or battery feels too hot, pause use and allow it to cool naturally before continuing.
